Description : ------------------------------------------------------ This recruitment is seeking an experienced project manager to act as a project lead in the Enterprise section. The project manager will work closely with project sponsor, IT senior management, business analyst, web application and data warehouse development teams, as well as various project stakeholders to deliver valuable products that meet our partners business objectives. Work includes overseeing new application, data warehouse and business intelligence product development, as well as enhancement and maintenance of existing products. The incumbent should be able to handle multiple projects concurrently and be able to get up to speed on business and functional requirements quickly. They should have demonstrated project management experience in leading large and complex application or database management systems, business intelligence tools or systems. The project manager is expected to work with minimal supervision, have strong communication and leadership skills, be willing and able to mentor team members, and be a team player. Prior experience with existing Finance web applications, including FACTS, or other DCF applications such as RMS/RMTS, CQI or CCTS is required. Knowledge of DCF programs, including State of Wisconsin financial and/or contract administration,as well as BITS processes and procedures is required. Professional certification is required. Key responsibilities of the project manager include: • Technical and overall project management on enterprise-wide applications and data warehouse. Develops project charters, plans, deliverables and other project artifacts. • Solving complex technical problems in collaboration with the development team. • Understanding business objectives and problems, identifying possible solutions, performing feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives in support of enterprise-wide business intelligence. • Building an effective team and directing the work of the project team to meet project milestones. • Collaborating with project management peers to develop or improve standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of project documentation, tools and systems.
