Maintains familiarity with new and currently installed applications in order to provide guidance to the team in troubleshooting functionality and providing support and direction of the effective stability and growth of the ERP system. Performs research and analysis, prepares assigned project deliverables, and detailed specifications from which vendor ERP systems will be programmed/configured. Provides process and workflow analysis. Determines the software, tools, languages, and databases to be utilized. Collaboratively implements software application solutions for diverse and complex business requirements. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of packaged application customization, custom application development as well as multi-systems integration. Recommends enhancements and changes to the ERP system. Participates in the on-call rotation. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: -A minimum of four years of related work experience is required. A minimum of four years of HCM system (i.e.: Lawson, SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.) experience is required. -Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. HR business process knowledge and ability to work closely with both business and IT resources is preferred. -Knowledge of computer/network principles at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree in relevant technology field, or acquired through combination of education and experience, is required. -Strong understanding of project management principles and methods. Experience successfully leading projects involving software/hardware updates or new system installations. Strong understanding of components and data flow for simple to highly complex IT systems. Proven knowledge and understanding of operating systems, computer programming concepts, software development lifecycle, databases, client-server technology, networks and security. -Experience developing in one or more of the following is preferred: o Lawson Pattern Language (LPL) o HTML/HTML5 o SQL o HL7 o Crystal Reports Experience in Lawson GHR and Lawson S3 is preferred. JOB DESCRIPTION: -Works with users to develop requirements for new systems and/or changes to current ERP systems. Analyzes and translates business requirements into technical system and data specifications and solutions. -Performs analysis of new ERP features/enhancements in response to business policy changes. Conducts impact analysis and specify functional and data changes required to meet new business requirements. -Understands how our applications operate, are structured, and how customers use them. Identify the impact of changes to cross-functional areas resulting in a more effective specification, minimized project risk and efficient execution. -Acts as a team leader for projects involving multiple analysts or multiple systems. Leads and performs analysis and design tasks related to both new and existing applications and business projects. Completes assigned tasks as per defined project scope, timelines and budgets for implementation. -Leads testing of new hardware and software for integrity and usability, and develop and maintain project-specific system test plans, and assist with test plan execution for quality assurance.
