Client Info : State of WI Description: IT Help Desk Analyst In this role, the successful candidate will provide first-line troubleshooting and maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing and resolving problems, installing hardware and software, and supporting the IT Operations team. He or she will be responsible answering help desk calls, responding to help desk emails, troubleshooting support issues, and escalating as needed. Other tasks include performing backup and printing functions, PC maintenance, and upgrades/configuration changes as needed or requested. Responsibilities: - Provide primary helpdesk support, and resolve problems to the end users satisfaction - Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk - Monitor requests for assistance, and assign/escalate as required - Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation - Provide primary support and training to end users for Office 365 & Microsoft Exchange - Provide assistance as needed with Active Directory and Group Policy changes, including assigning users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory - Assist with onboarding of new users, including basic PC training - Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment as required - Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software - Assist with the updating and maintenance of our internal asset database - Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required Basic Requirements: - Associates Degree in Computer Engineering or Equivalent - Minimum of 2 years IT experience, including the following areas: o Active Directory Support o Desktop User Support o Virtual Environment Support o Microsoft Exchange, OWA, and Office 365 Support o The ability to work with minimal supervision Preferred Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or Equivalent - 4+ years experience in Information Technology, with a focus on end-user support - LDAP Experience - In-Depth knowledge of TCP/IP and Network Protocols and Procedures - Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Aerohive Products - Experience with Microsoft Server 2012 - Knowledge of Linux Server Operating Systems   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
