The employees are required to be loaded in PeopleSoft by the end of October for Benefits enrollment in November. They will be paid out of PeopleSoft payroll starting with the first pay period in January 2012. Project Management Skills - Experience and thorough understanding of the PMI-based Project Management Life Cycle - Lead project team to deliver business and technical objectives on-time, within budget and to specification - Create MS Project schedule using Dynamic Scheduling, and utilize the schedule to communicate and manage the work - Report status, issues and risks according to PMO processes and schedule - Prepare project for governance gate approvals - Demonstrated experience in managing projects in risk and dependency rich environment - Experience managing the integration of employees into PeopleSoft - Familiarity with PeopleSoft HR modules and tables, including HCM, Payroll, Time & Labor, and Absence Management - Proven experience driving projects to meet target dates Experience that will be considered a plus: Previous experience working with ADP Previous experience working with Ceridian Experience working with SharePoint Professional Background - Experience in delivering technical solutions form concept, selection, installation, testing and implementation focusing on data-related projects. - Have worked in medium to large corporate environments, insurance (P&C) and/or financial services industry preferred - Experience with the SDLC, familiarity with agile methods not required but preferred - Experience with transformational frameworks CMMI, PSP/TSP and/or business process re-engineering (BPR) not required but preferred - Background in business analysis not required but preferred Responsibilities include: - Working with various areas of IT and HR to create and maintain the project CBA - Working with the functional team to identify all tasks that will require a technical resource - Working with the Applications Team Leader on resourcing the technical tasks for project - Working with the technical project team to ensure all development is completed per the business requirements - Create and maintain a project plan for all technical tasks. Working with the functional Project Manager to integrate the technical tasks into the overall project plan. - Publishing a MS Project plan for time entry. Includes monitoring and accepting all time logged to the project by technical resources. - Status reporting from a technical perspective to the Program Manager - Documenting and escalating any changes in scope - Ensuring project artifacts required by the PMO are created, signed off and stored on the project website - Over site of the project SharePoint site - Review of all unit testing completed by the technical team prior to turning over for User Acceptance Testing - Coordination of testing with the functional team, including assisting with test planning - Maintaining the defect log during testing - Create and execute a Technical Implementation plan - Decommissioning of payroll systems The project team that will be managed will be responsible for: - Development of all interfaces out of PeopleSoft - Development of a conversion process for loading the employee data - Development of any requested PeopleSoft customizations - Development to meet reporting requirements   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
