Develop, manage, and update conceptual, logical, and physical data models in a multi-tiered Data Warehouse environment. Possess proven skills in both dimensional and relational data modeling and have a clear understanding of how ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) and BI (Business Intelligence) tools influence the final database design. Responsible for understanding source system database structures and underlying data. Perform data profiling, analysis, and knowledge transfer expertise to project team members. Design, develop, maintain, test, reverse engineer, and modify ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) processes within the context of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions. Possess proven skills and sound knowledge of ETL/BI processes and best practices and be experienced in development activities. Collaborate with team members throughout the SDLC to perform model reviews, data reviews, issues resolution, and assure the successful delivery of the Panel Reprogramming solution. Candidates should have no less than 5 years of experience with Data Analysis, Database Design (ERWin or Embarcadero on Oracle platform), and ETL Development using Informatica Power Center. Duties and Responsibilities: Interview business users and/or technical SMEs to obtain source system information for new integration or analytic application. Perform source system data profiling including structure, data, and relationship discovery. Design conceptual, logical, and physical models to meet project requirements. Evolve existing models to meet new and changing business requirements. Consolidate and deliver data centric project artifacts including data profile findings, data quality requirements, business metadata (table/column), source to target mappings (data lineage specifications), data transformation logic, source system specification, operational requirements (data retention, archiving, and purge), etc. Conduct model reviews with DBAs and project team members. Develop, design, maintain, test and install ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) and BI processes. Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field with coursework in technology-related subjects. A masters degree is desireable. Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience delivering IT solutions Minimum 5 years of experience in designing integration and analytic solutions. Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementation of ETL processes using Informatica suite of products A sound understanding of BI and Data Profiling and Quality Tools, preferably Business Objects and Trillium Discovery and Data Quality respectively Strong Oracle database experience is required. Excellent SQL and DDL / DML skills a must.
