Description:

The Board of Regents (BOR) of the University System of Georgia (USG) seeks an Ellucian Banner DBA to design and secure computer databases to store, track, and maintain a large volume of critical business information. The DBA will develop database models and coordinate projects.

***Remote work will apply after first 3-4 weeks onsite in Athens, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain releases of Banner 9 applications, troubleshoot and fix errors in existing applications systems.
- Collaborate with the implementation team (Business Analysts, testers, developers and administrators).
- Support implementation team on current issues.
- Assist in planning production roll-out and deployment related activities.
- Create and maintain documentation and standards.
- Create and maintain thorough and complete technical documentation of all ERP Ellucian Banner 9 customizations and reports.
- Work with onsite and off-site teams to support Ellucian Banner 9 development/processing.


Qualifications:

- 3+ years of Ellucian Banner 9 technical implementation consultant experience with higher education clients.
- Ellucian Banner 9 experience.
- Proficiency in Oracle 12c RDBMS and Weblogic or higher is required.
- Competence in Banner Student Information System and associated integrated systems.
- Experience with the following: Ellucian Solutions Manager (ESM), JAVA, Jenkins, and Redhat 6.x or higher.
- Strong problem solving experience.
- BS or MS in Computer Science preferred.

Soft Skills:

- Strong problem solving experience.
- Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conducting presentations and advising implementation team on technical issues.
