Description:

This role serves as a Financial Card product lead and Subject Matter Expert responsible for developing an in depth knowledge of credit card products. The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, with both a strategic and detailed focus to understand, analyze and recommend areas for improvement for products and processes as well as the ability to troubleshoot production and implementation issues.

This individual will work on a number of strategic customer implementations for Financial Cards area simultaneously and as a result strong organizational skills, initiative and decision making abilities are critical as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This individual will work with various internal teams to develop and coordinate customer program implementations, help ensure and recommend changes to the process to help drive successful onboarding and conversion campaigns. As a result, teamwork, relationship building and decision making abilities are important for success in this role.

Duties:

• Responsible for providing advice to programming personnel regarding application design specifications for segments of an application.
• Responsible for providing assistance on or conducing the more complicated walk throughs of technical and operational features, functions, and attributes of a new or existing computer system.
• Responsible for the resolution of complicated application support issues related to application design specifications for new applications or enhancements.
• Consult with internal and external clients to evaluate programming needs.
• May develop and conduct systems training.
• May participate in systems demonstrations to internal and external clients.
• Interface with technical, in-house customer service personnel and customers to determine nature of non-routine and moderately-complex problems and implement new product configurations for customer.
• May recommend changes to support model to better share support responsibilities across the team and with solution owners.
• May provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel.

Communication Requirements:
• Contact may be ongoing and may be required to maintain a continuing working relationship
• Conveys or exchanges factual information in routine ways
• Interprets or explains data or information to deliver messages

Minimum Job-Related Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Associate will need skillset and high degree of competency in technical, analytical and scheduling competencies.
• Payment Systems experience in Credit & Debit Card with either Issuing, Acquiring or Authorizations is required.
• Smartcard or EMV experience is highly desired
• Experience with Datacard central issuance equipment is highly desirable
