Please only submit candidates who are comfortable with that*** • Audio Video Technician Responsibilities: o Ability to travel overnight 3-4 nights at a time. o Meeting with Event Coordinators to discuss audio and video requirements based on conference agenda. o Communicating venue arrangements according to layout diagrams. o Familiar with Hotel Banquet Manager functions and able to read and understand Event Orders o Laying electrical and sound cables in a logical and safe manner. o Setting up and installing microphones, video monitors, projectors, speakers, and video cameras. o Conducting sound, visual, and performance quality checks on AV equipment. o Operating sound and visual equipment during live events, including audio mixers, VDA, and live production switchers. o Maintaining strong customer relations. o Disassembling audio and visual equipment and packing up after the event. • Audio Video Technician Requirements: o Bachelors degree in sound engineering or a similar field or relevant experience working as an AV technician. o Typical Experience: 36-60 months o In-depth knowledge of live sound mixing and video equipment. o Familiarity with computers and IP Networking Systems. o Familiarity with PowerPoint and presentation software. o Excellent troubleshooting skills. o Detail oriented. o Ability to lift equipment weighing 50lbs o Good communication and interpersonal skills. o Professionalism displayed at all times.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
