PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Trainer / Content Developer
The Trainer/Content Developer is responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of a blended training program for the Pilot launch of our clients strategic initiative to provide a standardized and streamlined HR solution and self-service functionality for 190,000 employees across their campuses and medical centers. The initiative includes the creation of a system-wide shared service center, which is responsible for the processing of the standardized HR transactions through PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 [includes Portal, Core HR (including Smart HR Templates), Absence Management, Benefits Administration, Compensation, and Payroll]. The Pilot will impact about 1,800 employees and 100 end users with additional locations to follow. 3 distinct user groups are impacted and will comprise the training audience, including a new HR shared services organization (contact center and production teams), Location HR, and managers/employees.

Job Responsibilities:
-Define course design, content, and flow for development.
-Develop quick-reference guides, jobs aids, and supporting documentation for user training and production support
-Work with functional and technical SMEs to translate knowledge and processes into course content that support skills training and knowledge application.
-Use training templates, standards and guidelines, and common methodology as defined by the Training Team, to ensure consistent deliverables across audiences and modules.
-Collaborate with other Content Developers / Trainers to share knowledge and create synergies between courses / modules.
-Work with Training Team members to ensure alignment to future state designs regarding roles, processes, and hand-offs.
-Incorporate business context scenarios, business processes, practice exercises, and graphics into courses and training documents, as appropriate.
-Review and validate training content with appropriate SMEs and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and managing iterations, as required.
-Deliver tailored training for each audience group through facilitated workshop and instructor-led sessions.

Required Experience & Skills:
-At least 3+ years of direct experience designing, developing, and delivering training for PeopleSoft v9.1+ for at least one of the following modules: Core HR/Workforce Administration, (including Smart HR Templates), Position Management, Absence Management, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Payroll.
-Demonstrated experience with delivery of instructor-led training and group facilitation.
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks for large-scale, high profile implementation.
-Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Customer-service focus with demonstrated ability to lead groups to consensus within a designated timeframe, to set expectations at achievable levels, and to engage senior management as needed.
-Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Additional Qualifications:
-Prior experience with PeopleSoft implementations in a higher education or multi-location public sector environment preferred.
-Prior experience supporting an HR Shared Services implementation preferred.
-Hands-on implementation and /or production support experience a plus.
-Experience in instructional design and development using tools such as Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) or Adobe Captivate.
-Knowledge and skill in working with a learning management system.
