Must be detail oriented and willing to work shifts. Client is a 24/7/365 operation and this job may require working non-business hours for an extended basis. Basic Requirements: BS in a related field; and 4 to 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years experience developing Software, in Windows & Unix environments Willing and able to work any shift assigned as dictated by the needs of the business Must be able to travel from Denver to our Uplink Centers (Cheyenne, WY & Gilbert, AZ) as assigned Must be able to navigate stairs. · Must be able to climb a ladder to facilitate overhead equipment installation. Must be able to lift 20 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Video Compression, MPEG and Satellite Broadcasting. Experience with Commercial Insertion technologies and Business Operations Experience with customer facing support/operations support environments. Experience developing/supporting monitoring and alerting tools Experience developing solutions for Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, SOAP, Linux Scripting, Perl/Python, SQL, Zenoss Responsibilities: Work with Internal and External groups to identify issues, and develop solutions for the Addressable platform. Develop Solutions for both Business features, and also Operational needs (Alerts/Monitoring) Provide estimates, manage timelines/releases and deliver solutions as identified. Develop Technical & Operational understanding of the platform Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Meet deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
