The operations, management and monitoring of these systems requires a high level of services be provided to stakeholders 24/7. The most efficient solution would be to establish a Network Operations and Desk-Side Center (otherwise known as a NOC) the ITS & Network Services unit. This would provide DMO with the capability to have a 16-hour Monday – Friday monitoring of the network, servers, desktops and third-party services with an end goal of 24/7 service level, providing tier 1 and 2 support for the network, desktop/server support and service to DMO stakeholders. A NOC would also allow for DMO to have a dedicated group of people who can, during peak service times, provide maintenance of our systems and network assets. Attached are four possible staffing plans and the requirements for all positions. Scope: Bid and contract for Enhanced Staffing Services.
