Major/Key Accountabilities • Ensure Production environment stability and provide support to the Americas Region • Understand business / functional unit needs and processes, and anticipate, drive, and facilitate the redesign of processes to ensure that a timely and effective solution is provided. • Develop and implement business applications aligned with the business needs and in accordance with best practices • Understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between related functional modules of SAP • Knowledge of project management methodologies as applied to IT initiatives • Develop functional specifications and work with technical resources to complete object development and testing • Support all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions, as well as documentation, and end-user training. • Constantly monitor and improve effectiveness of the core business systems relative to end user experience • Build relationships with Information Systems departments and other relevant business partners, balancing practicalities with innovative and efficient business systems solutions • Lead and coordinate across teams. • Provide leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing • Provide value-added service; working through systems issues and challenges in a context and language the business line management will understand • Analyze, support, make suggestions for improvements and provide feedback on current systems used within the business • Advise and guide the relevant business units on the best practice of project Governance and other associated processes • Provide Information Systems project support for relevant initiatives Qualifications • MIS Bachelor Degree preferred or relevant work experience of 5 – 10 years • CBAP Certified or Qualified to sit for the CBAP certification • SAP Certification is desirable Experience • Proven experience in providing system support and direct contact with users to solve issues with business applications. • Strong knowledge of and configuration experience in SAP 5.0 or higher (6.0 preferred) in Returnable Packaging Logistics elements of the Discrete Industry Solutions • An ability to integrate system capabilities with business needs where potentially the degree of customization required in SAP is considerably above normal • At least 3 years of SAP Implementation experience through at least two full project lifecycles including upgrades • Excellent communications skills---both written and verbal, and the ability to present difficult concepts into understandable terms to all levels of the organization.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
