Description: This position will support the DTMB geospatial enterprise as a member of the team responsible for configuration and operational support of enterprise GIS software and systems that leverage the environment. This position is a technical resource expected to possess experience and understanding of IT systems management and software administration. Experience with the ESRI suite of GIS tools is desired, especially ArcGIS Enterprise and extensions. Primary duties include, but not limited to: • Installation, configuration,maintenance, and update of ArcGIS Enterprise software • System monitoring • Troubleshooting system issues and working with vendors, DTMB staff, and customers to resolve • Implementing geodatabase changes and management of geodatabase versions • Publish geospatial map services (change management/service promotion) • Manage user accounts/access to systems • Participate in meetings with state agency customers using the geospatial enterprise services Desired technical and software skills include, but not limited to: • Software administration and configuration • IT change management • IT incident response (troubleshooting systems and resolving issues) • Process automation (Python or other scripting tools) • ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise administration • Microsoft SQL Server • Basic understanding of geospatial data structure is desired.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
