The selected candidate will work under the direction of the DHHS MITA SS-A 3.0 Project Lead and in concert with additional resources in the performance of work. Additionally the Business Systems Analyst will interface with and obtain advice from DHHS Subject Matter Experts (SME) as required to complete the work. The resource will have an active role in the review process for the final release of MITA 3.0 as well. Furthermore, the resource will collaborate with the States solution vendor to ensure the timely and accurate updating of the MITA Mapping document and will maintain consistent communication with Business Leaders, SMEs, Department Program Executives (DPE), and appropriate staff to ensure that all relevant Narratives, Visioning Statements, and financial information are updated accordingly. Expectation/Responsibilities Include: ? Providing assistance assessing the State?s Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) using the MITA 3.0 framework ? Facilitating the documentation of the State future goals for the Medicaid Enterprise ? Evaluation of the maturity of the State?s Medicaid processes ? Documentation of supporting evidence, and the completion of SS-A scorecards ? Assist with the Behavioral Health State Self-Assessment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required: To participate in the BH MITA SS-A, the selected candidate for Business Systems Analyst should possess: 1. Strong organizational skills 2. Strong teamwork and communication skills and the ability to work successfully with all levels of resources within DHHS to achieve positive outcomes 3. Strong problem solving skills 4. Strong process analysis skills 5. Ability to successfully multi-task 6. State and/or Federal government experience Preferred: * Extensive experience in State/Federal Behavioral Health (Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse) Programs, and demonstrate knowledge of MITA for Behavioral Health, and the associated Business Process Models and Business Capability Matrices. * Previous Behavioral Health MITA State Self-Assessment experience * A working knowledge of MITA for the Medicaid Enterprise and/or North Carolina Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (DMH) programs. * Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
