North Dakota Veterans Home intend to purchase a time, attendance, and scheduling software to enhance and expand the scheduling needs for our staff. All in one system to be more efficient. There is a total of approximately 185 active positions, which includes FTE and temporary staff. For the initial purchase will include 200 licenses for our staff for the time, attendance, and scheduling software. The software requires the capability to interface with Peoplesoft, a mobile app, ability to transmit to PBJ, multiple departments with the ability for staff to self-schedule and look at who is working what shifts. This will be an ongoing contract. JUSTIFICATION: Due to the Covid-19 virus many changes have needed to take place to protect our staff. One of those changes was to not have staff passing around paper schedule. With this software we would have the ability to assign staff their shifts, they would be able to self-schedule, to trade and pick up shifts all from their mobile devices. Having all in one system of time, attendance and scheduling will be beneficial to our staff. With having missed time punch alerts, variance reporting and time care reporting that are all delivered in real-time in the cloud will help our management staff out greatly. In December 2020, the North Dakota Veterans Home issued a competitive RFP for scheduling and timeclock software.
