Job Description Analyst: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Relational Database Experience, -,

[Note : At six months the candidate has to be able to go permanent so the candidates will need to be a Citizen, Greencard holder or have an EAD]

Job Description:

Solves information problems by interfacing with the customer and analyzing requirements; designs reports based on workflow and customer direction; modifies existing reports to account for customer changes based on need.

Responsibilities:

·Determines operational workflow by studying customer software patterns; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

·Designs new and modifies existing reports by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities/relationships; writing specifications.

·Improves existing reports by studying current practices, and workflows; designing modifications.

·Recommends changes by identifying problems and or data discrepancies; writing improved procedures.

·Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.

·Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing reporting support; training end users.

·Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information accurate and confidential.

·Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

·Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2, Microsoft Visual Basic 2008, Oracle, Relational Database concepts, Report Design, Report Documentation, Software Development Process, Software/Report Requirements, Analyzing Information , Teamwork, Software Maintenance, Written Communication, Promoting Process Improvement
