Short Description:
Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component & assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement & development work.
Complete Description:
This resource will:
Upgrade the applications
Update documentation and deployment procedures
Develop new deployment documents for the 5 test applications
Deploy all upgraded applications to testing servers
Perform testing.

1. Basic Address Match – this application is an XML / .Net web service that provides a latitude/longitude for a single street address. The web service needs to be upgraded from Visual Studio 2003, .NET 1.1 framework to Visual Studio 2008, .NET 3.5 framework, and from using a SQL Server 2000 database to SQL Server 2008 database. This web service uses the TANA Matchmaker software. The documentation needs updated to reflect the new software architecture.

2. There is one .aspx page within the Basic Address Match web service that is used for testing. This page also needs upgraded from Visual Studio 2003, .Net 1.1 to Visual Studio 2008, .Net 3.5 framework.

3. The standalone test application for Basic Address Batch web service needs to be upgraded from Visual Studio 2003, .NET 1.1 to Visual Studio 2008, .NET 3.5 framework. New deployment procedures.

4. USPS Address Verification – this application is a XML.Net web service that provides a verified address for a single street address. The web service needs to be upgraded from Visual Studio 2003, .NET 1.1 framework to Visual Studio 2008, .NET 3.5 framework, and from using a SQL Server 2000 database to SQL Server 2008 database. This web service uses the Quick Address Software. The documentation needs updated to reflect the new software architecture.

5. The standalone test application for USPS Address Verification web service needs to be upgraded from Visual Studio 2003, .NET 1.1 to Visual Studio 2008, .NET 3.5 framework. New deployment procedures.

6. USPS Batch Address – this application is a XML.Net web service that provides a verified address for a batch of street addresses. The web service needs to be upgraded from using a SQL Server 2000 database to SQL Server 2008 database. This web service uses the Quick Address Software and the USPS Batch Windows Service. The documentation needs updated to reflect the new software architecture.

7. There is a standalone Windows test application for USPS Batch Address web service needs upgraded from Visual Studio 2003 to Visual Studio 2008. New deployment procedures.

8. USPS Geo Match - this application is a XML.Net web service provides a verified address and latitude/longitude for a single street address. The web service needs to be upgraded from Visual Studio 2003, .NET 1.1 framework to Visual Studio 2008, .NET 3.5 framework, and from using a SQL Server 2000 database to SQL Server 2008 database. This web service consumes the USPS Address Verification and Basic Address Match web services. The documentation needs updated to reflect the new software architecture.
