Business Problem

The BIApps development team has several projects that need to be completed for the remaining of this year and the first quarter of 2022. The teams Lead developer has taken a position in another agency. We have hired a new employee to fill that role, but they need to be trained and are not able to complete all of the development task that are needed. Three business problems have been identified which represent the primary reasons for this request:

· BIApps expertise is needed to maintain the current system

· Several BIApps projects are in progress that need to be completed.

· Edison staff training is needed to gain a clearer understanding of the BI APPS suite.
Work Effort Description

The purpose of this work effort is to have BIApps expertise on the BI development team to assist staff in maintaining the current system, provide best solutions to move forward on upcoming BIApps projects and train Edison staff on best practices/development standards for the BIApps suite

Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) Specialist will develop new ETLs, new subject Area in BI repositorys, train OBI developers and provide knowledge transfer to EDISON OBI team.

· The OBI Specialist must be able to create/modify ETLs in ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)

· The OBI Specialist must be able to create/modify a subject area in the OBIEE repository.

· The OBI Specialist must be able to train Edison OBI developers

· The OBI Specialist must be able to provide documentation and knowledge transfer to the Edison OBI team.

· The OBI Specialist must have a good understanding of OBI configuration

· The OBI Specialist must have a good understanding of OBI security
