Hands on ETL production support (data transformations and data movement) using Ab Initio, Ab Initio Express IT, EDQE (Data Quality) and Enterprise Metadata Hub as key tools Effectively work in an ETL framework driven environment Identify key business processes and deliver subject specific ETL processes to load physical data models Support ongoing ETL efforts in the UAT/BCP and Production environments Effectively communicate ETL load status, design to other team members to ensure proper execution and utilization of the data structures Partner with source system Subject Matter Experts (SME)s, Data Analysts and Modelers to build Conformed and Data Distribution views of complex data sources into our environment. Work very closely with Data consumers, business analysts, development teams and project managers for requirements and business rules Work on complex problems where analysis requires evaluation of varying factors Plan, perform, and act as the escalation point for complex platform designs, coding, testing and execution. Work with platform teams, SOR technical teams and technical teams in the resolution, review and critique of data architecture design and implementation work. Additional responsibilities: Develops new runbook documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides Communicate with stakeholders in case of delays or SLA breaches. Management of the problem and incident resolution process. Resolves incidents within defined service levels. Manages and owns application issues and incident life cycle, drive recurring issues to permanent resolutions, implement preventive measures to avoid repetitive issues. Debug, troubleshoot, root cause analysis and resolve issues within SLA. Resolve complex problems with long term fixes following ETL best practices. Collaborate with technology team to identify solutions and review of complex bugs and incident resolution. Perform weekly incident/problem review meetings with application team. Responsible for on-call 24 x 7 production system support, including off hours and weekend Development of daily start of day checks and system healths. Management of application release and change management process. Responsiblility includes continued system improvements to help reduce tech debt costs Perform custom, ad-hoc data analysis and reporting based on stakeholder requests within SLA.
