Responsibilities: * Drive, Design and implement the base test automation framework. Assist in handoff to HP SMSs/ Engineer(s). * Advise, assist, mentor and direct HP SMSs/ Engineers on what to design/how to design the full scope of the automation framework. This includes identifying necessary functions/methods, enforcing best practices, setting implementation timetables and schedules, and directing code reviews. * Deliver QA Implementation Plan to appropriate team members. Plan should include overview of the automation framework, expected automation coverage, expected manual test coverage, design timetables, risks, and team members/their respective roles. * Develops a detailed test plan including project overview, QA responsibilities, timelines, resources & expectations Sprint planning & estimations with Project Manager Manages HP QA resources to develop and execute functional test scripts.
