Probably have 20 traditional APIs. On Rest, have at least 37. Top MUST HAVE requirements: -Strong analytical skills – For example if 100m records were copied onto the new system and only 80m were deleted off the old system then working out a way to validate the results to make sure they correlate -Strong development skills o Strong API Exp o Need to write APIs and scripts to copy data from the old system into the new one and then delete it from the old systems -RPG o (6 or higher) with REST OR older RPG experience but must have telecom o 3 years of experience would be fine -SQL o DML/DDL -Need to be comfortable working in a high pressure environment – extremely aggressive timelines and face paced environment NICE TO HAVES: -Telecom experience ** -CABs (carrier access billing system) -Object Oriented programming techniques -Web Service Contract Definitions o XML Schema and JSON Schema -JSON Utilities -YAJL -Valence Framework -AxisC Client Job Description: Searching for a talented IBM i software developer to implement and maintain cutting edge REST web services used across the entire company domain.
