He or She will gather requirements, develop and implement complex to highly complex changes, fixes or enhancements. The technology team manages key custom web-based applications within PVSI built on a .Net framework in addition to web services. This role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities: •Analyze complex business requirements, design solutions and write technical specifications for application updates and rewrite projects. •Work with Business Analysts and business partners to understand and validate end user requirements •Hands on application and web service development and unit testing •Participating in system and user acceptance testing tasks as assigned •Participate in security peer reviews and provide recommendations for enhancements where applicable •Facilitate application production deployments •Acting as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting •Assuring quality, security, and compliance requirements are met Some night and weekend work may be required for support, and to deploy releases. Leverage existing Enterprise Technology processes, products, & services to avoid duplication, speed delivery and reduce costs. Do not reinvent the wheel! Minimum Qualifications: -Advanced hands-on web development experience with the following: ASP.NET, C#, Java Script, Ajax, HTML, XML, web services, SQL Server 2017, SSRS, and SSIS. - Strong Problem solving and analytical skills in a complex business and technical environment - Ability to come up to speed on new technology and processes quickly. •Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills •7+ years of application development and implementation experience •7+ years of .net experience •7+ years of C# experience •3+ years of Oracle experience •3+ years of SQL experience •2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services •3+ years of Web Services experience •3+ years of Progress Telerik 3rd Party Tool experience Preferred Skills: •3 + years of experience developing Single Page Architecture (SPA) web application using ASP.NET MVC, Knockout, Javascript, or JQuery, or with frameworks such as Angular.JS or HTML 5 •3+ years of Aspose 3rd Party Tool experience •Autosys experience •Java experience •Cloud computing experience •Financial services industry experience •Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy •Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills •Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex customer issues •Knowledge and understanding of   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
