The ideal candidate would have experience building the software product from the ground up, have experience with the 3 bullet points below, and pharmaceutical industry experience. .NET. C#, ASP.NET, MVC SOA, Micro Services architectures, Entity Framework (EF) 10 years or more experience in developing real-time systems (with integration of industrial hardware into Windows applications) Description: Software Architect will make intuitive high-level decisions for software development, see the big picture, and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team. They are experienced in designing and possess ability to develop a unified vision for software characteristics and functions. The goal is to provide a framework for the development of a software or system that will result in high quality IT solutions. Responsibilities Must conduct research, gather information, interpret data, evaluate, identify and then create a solution. Collaborate with internal and external customer to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or look at poor-behaving software and finding ways to improve it. Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers Share skills and expertise with software engineering staff. Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc. Approve final product before launch Core Skills 8+ years of professional experience in Microsoft tools and technologies, including: o C#, ASP.NET, .Net Core, MVC o SOA, Micro Services architectures. o RESTful services. o Entity Framework (EF), Entity Framework Core (EF Core). o SQL Server. o Devops, Containers (Docker), Schedulers (Kubernetes). o Service Monitoring, Performance tuning and testing tools. o Web Technologies for UI (AngularJS,HTML5 etc). o Strong experience in designing/writing high speed backend code in C#. Quick learner that is ready and eager to prototype Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns Understanding of various coding methods and computer languages Data modeling and database design experience Experience with agile development methodologies Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes Experience with service oriented architecture (SOA) 10 years or more experience in developing real-time systems Experience with integration of industrial hardware into Windows applications Experience in AWS Nice to have: Experience with enterprise service bus (ESB) platforms such as, MuleSoft or BizTalk Experience with content management systems Experience in industrial process control, point-of-sale, MAC machine, robotics, PLCs, etc. Mobile Experience Experience in real time web applications is a big plus.
