Job Description Developer: ASP.NET, .Net Core, Microservices Experience, REST APIs Cloud Experience Azure NoSQL C

Candidate must be our W2 Employee.

Job Description:

Client: JM Family

Role: .NET Developer

Duration: 12-month contract expected (through end of 2021)

Remote Capabilities (Y/N): Y – remote until at least July of 2021 (prefer someone local after that but not a deal-breaker)

Start Date: Early January

Interview Process: video call with manager (more cultural based – 30 minutes) à video technical screening with the architect (30 minutes) à final technical call with 2 senior .NET engineers (30 minutes)
Feedback Times/Resume Review: N/A

AVs: Yes – can use vendor candidates

Project Details – Size, Scale, Scope? How does candidate fit into this?

In-house product for dealing with their dealerships and tracking various metrics – working to modify and improve this for the team.

Will be a mixed technical project – Salesforce, microservices (AWS), MongoDB and Oracle and integrating with Teradata – will have to get basic familiarity to all this but primarily focus is on the C#/.NET programming portion

Will also be doing some migration work over from AWS to Azure they may help with in the future

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

Incidents and enhancements in .NET Development for web application(s)

Azure projects if they have the background there as well they could use that too and would be more long-term project need through at least end of 2021

Will do basic queries to database as well

No UI/Front-end work – have another team that handles that

What are the top MUST HAVE technologies or Required experience for the position?

1. ASP.NET or .NET Core experience

2. Microservices/REST APIs

3. Cloud knowledge (Azure preferred)

4. Database knowledge (relational or NoSQL -have SQL Server, Oracle, Cosmos DB, & MongoDB)

5. Azure Development

NICE TO HAVES (OR WHAT GETS THE WIN)?

2. SonarQube (for code testing)
