The Applications Development Analyst will report to the Manager for the Engineering and Operations (E&O) Team but will work across multiple projects and teams to help fulfill needs. The selected candidate will be working with a team to develop a new application. Must be able to understand the customers requirements for the new application and translate those requirements to be implemented in the application. Will review current application system program components and databases to become familiar with applications functionality, workflow, and data storage. The selected candidate MUST have experience with developing applications with a GIS component. 6 Education Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field. 7 Experience 1. At least 5 years of experience in Visual Studio and/or ASP .NET Required. 2. Experience with developing solutions with a GIS component Required. 3. Experience in Azure, Azure SQL, SQL Server and Oracle. 4. Azure DevOps experience. 5. Experience in developing reports utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). 6. An understanding of WEB building/monitoring and compliance tools. 7. Experience working on project teams is highly desired. 8. Experience assisting or managing small projects is highly desired. 8 Primary Job Duties/ Tasks The submitted candidate must be able to perform the following duties and/or tasks: 1. Work as a senior developer on various cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented. 2. Collaborate with other team members and Subject Matter Experts to ensure solutions are implemented according to customer requirements. 3. Responsible for full lifecycle application development. Ensures code is written to implement the architecture and design such that it meets standards in terms of code quality and efficiency. 4. Fully unit test all solutions prior to User Acceptance Testing and implementation. 5. Initiate, drive and deliver effective experiences in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the architectural vision are communicated, supported and delivered to the highest standards; align core .NET based platform development initiatives with Department development vision, strategy and deployment. 6.
