Key Deliverables (i.e. Outcome) Peoplesoft Code: KO Develop and unit test code in a rapid moving and changing environment Work with business analysts to understand user requirements and develop technical solutions. Prepare technical code and support documentation for the delivered application components. Qualifications/ competencies (Please refer below for a complete list of competencies.) Peoplesoft Code: S/Q Well rounded individual with good all round technical skills and a good problem solver. Strong practical ASP.Net/SQL Server language experience. Strong .Net middle tier and web integration experience. Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree. 5-7 years working in a commercial environment, ideally with experience of banking or other financial institutions. - Highly proficient in C# 4.0. - Highly Proficient in using applying architectural patterns like MVVM, Prism Frameworks for Web Application Development using Silverlight. - Should be proficient with at least one dependency injection framework like Unity or MEF(Preferred) - Highly proficient in working with and developing highly scalable multi-threaded and multi-tier applications. - Proficient in developing & consuming web services using REST and SOAP. - Proficient with using and integrating the third party Controls like Infragistics Controls for Silverlight/WPF. - Experience in working with Oracle Databases and some SQL Knowledge. - Good to have knowledge on Java Web Services and/or HTML5. - Experience using Source Control via SVN or Similar to it Like TFS or VSS. - Experience in working in an Agile software development team is preferred Summary: The main function of a developer is to develop, create, and modify Trading Systems.
