Description: Primarily responsible for the development of web-based enterprise applications, with secondary tasks to include assisting other developers, contributing to software architecture, and assisting in the development of software standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: With a moderate amount of oversight and support, designs, develops, and maintains enterprise-wide web applications using ASP.net, VB.net, C#, AJAX, JavaScript/JQuery, LINQ, and XML. Designs, develops and maintains n-tier business and data tiers including a custom framework built in the .NET 3.5+ framework. Sets up and manages IIS 7+. Develops software using newer language and technology features of the .NET framework including WCF/WEB API 2.0+ Keeps current with new technologies and software methodologies related to the Microsoft software development platform. Creates and maintains code libraries and documentation. Analyzes, tracks and fixes defects in current applications written in ASP.net, VB.net, & C#. Analyzes, tracks and fixes defects in front-end applications written in Angular (version 4 and above). Support Level-1 Application incidents reported. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related area. Preferred 1 year of software development experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Understanding of the .NET framework version 3.5 and above. Understanding of the software development life-cycle. Strong foundation in object-oriented programming. Knowledge of web development, HTTP, CSS, and JavaScript, and browser compatibility. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a team-based environment.
