Candidate must be our W2 Employee. Job Description : Cloud Architect – AWS/GCP You will need in depth knowledge and experience in using cloud based solutions for enterprise scale systems. You will create and maintain architecture of portfolio of projects, and will remain involved in design and build phases to provide technology oversight, and remove any technology roadblocks by maintain an Architecture backlog and addressing work items in form of Proof of concepts, reference implementation and by coordinating work with other technology teams. Establish the high-level Solution Intent for given project or problem statement in form of architecture diagrams, models, constraints and principles Establish responsibilities of major logical components of the solution in collaboration with other team members Develop and maintain architecture deliverable necessary to illustrate system behavior, including usage models, and cost of ownership models and failure analysis model Ensure that the solution is aligned with the technology strategy, uses standard solution building blocks and can be built and operated in an efficient manner aligned with economic value of the project Develop, analyze, split, and prioritize work required to implement the systems non-functional requirements Provide technical oversight of implementation and keep it aligned with the solution intent Ensure that final build of the solution is in line with the solution intent Remove technology roadblocks and will obtain necessary approvals to keep the project moving Required Skills: BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required Minimum of 10 years experience building solutions and application across multiple technology areas and application stacks 5+ years experience as an Solutions architect with an emphasis on cloud hosted solutions Experience building architecture with either GCP or AWS Cloud cloud technologies (GCP experience and certification preferred) 3+ years of experience in API architecture, API management and REST API design Hands-on experience dealing with Security related concepts and solutions like encryption, key management, access control etc. Knowledge of cloud native architecture Have an understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure (IaaS) and system design around these concepts Experience in securing, performance tuning and hardening complex cloud base web service architecture Strong communication skills Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of web services design and development Experience with GCP offerings such Kubernetes, App Engine and other services. Experience with big data and distributed data systems Ability to train and mentor solutions architects and development teams in cloud standard methodologies You should be comfortable working in a large agile environment Certification in or experience with Enterprise Architecture methodologies like TOGAF   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
