Software Engineer (.Net) – 4 Openings (Jr à Sr)

Process: Tech Phone/Culture Fit (30-40 minutes)

F2F Interview or Skype (Coding + Culture Fit)

Projects:

Creating a new Agile Development Team (4 Devs + 1 Architect + 1 PO) – Building a Calculation Engine that Provides vehicle quotes & payments to customers communicating with dealerships. Converting monolithic services to fully micro-service and cloud based solutions rolled out to the following verticals:



#1 Tax Services

#2 Products/Accessories

#3 Lenders



Core Duties on the Agile Team

5+ years of experience with coding in .Net programming languages

Directs, prepares, designs, codes, tests, debugs, and maintains complex computer programs

Be able to write great code and know what that means

Experience with working in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments

Experience of Agile development methodologies e.g Scrum & Kanban

Strong communication & collaboration skills

Willingness to learn new things

Strong focus on quality

Be able to work on your own initiative

Believe in getting things done and show the tenacity to see projects to completion

Required Technical Skills:



Strong Experience of software development in C# including MicroService WebAPIs. (80-90%)
Experience with frontend languages like JavaScript, AngularJS or React is preferred (10-15%)
Ability to work in service oriented applications by following design principles.
Experience of Object Oriented Design and the use of modern database technologies Postgres or SQL Server.
A deep understanding of software version control techniques, such as Git or TFS.
An appreciation of Scrum based Agile development methods and processes.

Technologies we use & skills that are a bonus:

Experience in tools like Redis and Elasticsearch (is a plus)
Experience with cloud technologies like AWS and/or Azure (is a plus)
Experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, or Docker (is a plus)
Working in .Net Core and hosting in AWS Cloud Services (experience is a plus)
