Here are the details: Position: Cloud Engineer with AWS Location: Tarrytown, NY Duration: 06 Months Required Skills: · Cloud Operations Engineer will be responsible for support, maintenance and automation of the clients cloud operations. · Extensive experience with Configuration Management tool (Chef, Puppet, and Ansible) required; Ansible playbook preferred. · Works with Corporate IT to maintain desired security levels for services in the AWS cloud through patching and other remediation activity · Understands AWS capabilities, identify fixes for and implement new tools to bridge functional gaps. · Implement automation within AWS environment preferably using Python and BASH · Understands AWS capabilities, identify fixes for and implement new tools to bridge functional gaps. · Support and maintain various platforms, orchestration tools and webapps like – Databricks HPC for Apache Spark, Jenkins, Atlasstian suite. Etc., · Develop Ansible playbook and CloudFormation scripts to automate the server deployment and configuration. · Understanding of EC2, EBS, S3, ELB, RDS, and monitoring tools required. · Knowledge of cloud scripting tools, JSON, Python, and RESTful web services preferred. · Linux systems administration skills and experience required. · Windows server, IAS experience is a plus. · VPC and xGW VPC gateway management experience preferred.
