The ideal candidate will work with the latest performance testing tools and technologies to ensure our Clients industry leading platforms are high performing and can scale to meet the needs of the business. This job requires a strong background in performance engineering, and exceptional organizational, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills. The position will support testing efforts across multiple business units supported by our Client. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Design performance characterization strategies for a specific product area 2. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and application logs 3. Triage defects with development partners and project management teams 4. Work with application architects to identify performance bottlenecks and make tuning recommendations 5. Prepare and effectively communicate performance results to Director level management 6. Ensure timely customer concern of critical issues to the development, project and performance engineering teams 7. Coordinate activities of offshore engineers as/when required Required Skills: 1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related engineering field 2. Experience in software performance engineering against large-scale end-to-end systems 3. Extensive experience in the Information Technology field 4. Experience in software performance benchmarking tools (e.g. LoadRunner, CloudTest, JMeter,etc.) 5. Strong motivation to decompose complex systems and understand how they work 6. Advanced application memory consumption analysis skills 7. Working knowledge of application server technologies such as Tomcat, Node, or Apache Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): 1. Experience with Continuous Integration tools is highly desired 2. Experience in automation tools/frameworks 3.
