Work cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the data platform, and developing a deep expertise in the cloud technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the cloud platform Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates Develop as a key member of the data architecture team, ensure success in building a data platform and data services on the cloud platform. Act as a technical liaison between architecture department and other IT teams and help evolve the data architecture. Ensures security is integrated into all architecture solutions. Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the data solutions architect community Maintain proficiency and current knowledge of data computing technologies, trends, services and popular third-party tools Responsible for establishing technology governance for data platform, best practices, standards, architecture patterns, checklists. Deep understanding of Data and Database concepts including OLTP, Data warehouse, Logical and Physical Data Modeling, Master Data Management. The Skills You Bring We value experience in logical and physical data modeling and data integration, data mining, data migration and quality (assessment) management. We are also looking for you to have strong Data Management experience including Data Governance, Master Data Management, Reference Data Management and Metadata Management. We expect you to be able to work individually without much direction while also being able to pivot to working as part of a team towards a common goal. Experience with one or more RDBMS platforms (AWS RDS, Oracle, DB2z, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) Experience with NOSQL databases is a plus Experience with building Data Lakes is a plus Conversant with Metadata driven architectures (metadata tagging, data classifications, lineage, discovery) Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong software development skills and experience Strong presentation skills; written and verbal communication including the ability to influence and negotiate resolution of issues and conflicts.
