RESPONSIBILITIES: * Under limited supervision, develops conversion procedures and tools. Keeps them current while providing analysis, consultation and training to new clients during application conversions to ensure an accurate data conversion as well as clients who can effectively function on the system. * Provide consultation to the client before, during and after conversion, including the development of new department procedures the conversion may need. * Provide training to the client before, during and after conversion, including the correct use of the system and on-line terminal assistance, as well as daily application balancing procedures. * Interpret clients existing systems and workflows, through and including the balancing of conversion data. * Continuously review, revise and innovate new ways to accomplish these results. * Perform all functions of lower level positions on the conversion team as required. * Perform other duties as required. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or equivalent. Job Related Experience: 1 –3 years systems analysis experience in the financial services industry, or closely related field. Must be able to make decisions based on precedent and solve arising problems using sound judgment and experience. Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: * A strong understanding of how critical project completion is to client satisfaction. * Strong application knowledge and business acumen. * Possess strong level of technical skills required to complete assignments. * A strong knowledge of the relationship of software applications to each other. * The ability to interact with external, as well as, internal clients for the purpose of data gathering and design initiation. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products a plus. * Strong written, oral, and presentation skills. * In-depth application and industry knowledge, customization, interpersonal, writing, decision-making ability and client focused. Strong communications and presentation skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with good follow-up skills and attention to detail. * Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
