This individual will assist the broadband grant program manager in reviewing pay requests and appropriate support documentation from grantees and other agencies and officials to prepare proper financial documents to execute pay requests through the grant management and financial management systems. REQUIREMENTS: • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles sufficient to understand state and federal appropriation, accounting, and reporting systems. [REQUIRED – 3 years] • Assists with monitoring grantee performance to ensure progress is getting made toward specific grant program performance and financial objectives through review of specific budgeted grant activities and the details of grant expenditures to ensure eligibility and compliance under federal and state statutes, rules, and regulations [REQUIRED – 3 years] • Experience processing claims for reimbursement in a grant program or experience in accounts payable in a private organization. [REQUIRED – 3 years] • Experience drafting correspondence in response to verbal and written inquiries concerning grant programs and develops grant specific and grantee specific reports [REQUIRED – 3 years] • Experience working with contract managers to co-develop, document, and manage the procurement of products and services [REQUIRED – 3 years] • Experience Processing, monitoring, and tracking IT financial transactions [REQUIRED – 3 years] • Experience Analyzing IT business, budget, and financial trends [REQUIRED – 3 years] • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including extensive experience with formulas, pivot tables, charts.
