Job Description : Scrum Masters Job description below. • Ensures adherence to all development practices in accordance with our SDLC, standards, policies, general best practices, and management direction. • Manages team capacity appropriately to handle priority ad hoc issues and requests as they are identified. • Ensures principles and objectives of enterprise architectural guidelines and governance are maintained and utilized during development execution. • Coordinates and maintains efforts associated with System Level integration, and coordinates with other Scrum Masters, System Teams, shared services areas, and Technology Strategy team to align operations and resources to the overall technology strategy • Ensures non-functional requirements are defined, understood, and coaches through implementing to ensure the usability, reliability, performance, and supportability of the system • Institutes the mindset, culture, and technical practices to enable fast low-risk delivery • Assesses and progresses the maturity of the team and individual team members in development of various professional behaviors and skills including empathy and problem solving. • Removes impediments and guides the team to remove impediments. • Ensures problems, decision points and conflicts are identified, discussed, and mitigated in a timely fashion. • Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency. • Coaches the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices to achieve incremental value. • Coaches the team on how to get the most out of the concepts of self-management and self-organization. • Supports and coaches team members on Lean/Agile/DevOps best practices and execution within the team, including prioritization and backlog management. • Fosters adoption of Agile technical practices, improving the culture of technical discipline and craftsmanship within the team to promote quality practices • Continually updates own learnings and is a student of the latest trends in Lean, Agile, DevOps and Automation • Solid understanding of, and experience in, Agile methodologies and concepts, and DevOps, with preferred emphasis on SAFe Agile. • Previous technical background and hands on software development experience in coding, infrastructure, databases, development frameworks, development environments, design, and performance implications. • Command over general programming and application development processes, practices, methods, frameworks, nonfunctional requirements, and development environments. • Good understanding of DevOps practices, its latest techniques and learnings, and its impacts on Agile methodologies. • Demonstrates a servant leadership style and can influence activities and decisions without authority. • Can think strategically and develop direction and roadmaps beyond day to day activities. • Excellent servant leadership skills supporting a self-managing group including facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. • Experience in using/implementing automated testing, continuous builds, continuous integration, and continuous deployment preferred. • Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory preferred. • CSM, SSM or ASM Certifications are preferred. • Software development and testing experiences are preferred.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
