Supports and maintains all associated server operating systems components. Serves as a technical resource for complex problem resolution while providing exceptional service to the end user or customer. HM- Scott Crosier Responsibilities: Administer, configure, deploy and maintain Linux, AIX, and iSeries operating systems. Perform hardware/software analysis as requested. Prepare recommendations based on features, price/performance, etc. Administer VMware Virtual Server Infrastructure. Deploy, maintain and configure systems in hybrid and public clouds. Work with cloud providers to ensure performance and stability of deployed systems. Analyze user requirements, develop functional specifications and perform gap analysis of existing systems. Develop high-level technical specifications. Develop and maintain processes and procedures relating to the environment to ensure consistent delivery and sustainability. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: 5-8 years experience in systems and network monitoring technologies and tools. Ability to translate business needs and problems into technical solutions. Competent project management skills. Demonstrates an ability to evaluate project objectives and scope for feasibility and understanding. Broad business and finance related knowledge. Effective oral and written communication skills Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well within a team environment Ability to work independently and coordinate activities within a team Ability to multi-task Bachelors degree or equivalent experience RHEL 5.X, 6.X / Oracle Linux 7. AIX 6.x+ VM Ware 5.X / 6.X Public / Hybrid Cloud Preferred: 5+ years experience in systems and network monitoring technologies and tools.
