Job Description Engineer: Aix, IT Infrastructure, Ruby ROR, LDAP VMware Certification

Top 3 Technical Skills:
1. Hands-on RHEL 6 or 7 engineering, migration, and installation expertise.
2. Red Hat Satellite 6 or 7 administration and deployment experience. (Red Hat Satellite 6 is an infrastructure management product specifically designed to keep Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments and other Red Hat infrastructure running efficiently, properly secured, and compliant with various standards.
3. Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools.

Job Description:
Design, implement, and monitor highly secure and efficient infrastructure solutions within comprehensive compliance regulations, including SOC2; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.

Responsibilities
Ø Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
Ø Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
Ø Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
Ø Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with rest of the team
Ø Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure
Skills
Ø Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
Ø Experience working and integrating container applications (Docker or OpenShift). Development background within Java or .NET considered a major plus.
Ø Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef
Ø Experience with compliance programs like SOC1, SOC2
Ø Familiarity with Ruby, Puppet, SaltStack, Chef, Ansible and CFEngine
Ø Understanding of infrastructure deployment
Ø Operating skills; RHEL, AIX, PowerVM, VMware, Docker, Identity Management security with Kerberos /LDAP.
