Candidate must be our W2 Employee. Job Description : File Transfer Consultant Projected 24 month contract Minneapolis, MN Overview: WF is in process of centralizing all user access management. This team is responsible for helping migrate user entitlement into centralized previsioning tool. There is a population of 980 apps to review and provision then migrate data into Oracle 3rd party tool. They will be onboarding at least 50 apps per month starting in January with a completion deadline of December 2021. This consultant will be working with, hosting meetings, and educating application teams on the FTP migration process. Most of the time spent will be explaining to the app teams what information to fill out in a Technical Survey Document, which includes the format requirements etc. After explain the document, consultant will need to make sure the doc/info is returned in a timely fashion, and once returned, the consultant will validate the info provided, which will require a high comfort level with excel. The consultant must be OK with a fluctuating pace of work (from zero to 100 miles per hour at a given time), must be comfortable with a high pressure environment, and have a thick skin. Some stakeholders have been known to have tough personalities. Analysts support two methods: · File transfer – data into CSV file, drop into location through FTP/NDM and data gets imported o Not creating connections o Analyze spreadsheets, identify data integrity issues · Web Services - App can develop web service API to send data to tool. Web Services Day to Day: · Triage app and make sure its compatible with tool. · Help them understand format, how to format data, what piece of info goes on what column · 6 hrs of day in meetings, lots of spreadsheets · Not queue work. Each app is own project. 20 apps in a month – heavy volume. · Each app teams in various stages · Support Active Directory · Experience with java and/or .net. No actual coding but need to understand.
