Writes and maintains test automation. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Familiar with NT, UNIX and Solaris environments. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. The client has the immediate need to complement current IT staff with a contracted Software QA Analyst II Tester. ODE has a high priority Information Systems project that requires the role of a Software QA Analyst II Tester to ensure its successful deliver. The project has grant funding and needs to be completed under the USDE grant reporting criteria. The purpose is to procure a Software QA Analyst II Tester to compliment the current ODE IT staff and to assist with the development of the required testing and the functional and acceptance testing required to ensure the project applications are ready for a production environment and its successful delivery. The Software QA Analyst II Tester shall have previous QA testing experience following pre-defined test scripts, basic MS SQL (T-SQL) background, and understanding of technical projects.
