The Enterprise Architect coordinates with Solution Architects and delivery teams to implement Molina products a site, and shows how the current and future needs of a site will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. Essential Functions: Technical ? Understands MMS/MCO components and recommends innovative approaches to meeting business requirements and service level agreements. ? Solves complex issues that cross team boundaries, and improves existing implementation processes. ? Coordinates and facilitates the activities disparate MMS/MCO teams working towards a unified product implementation, removing road-blocks wherever necessary and promoting technical knowledge harvesting within the organization. ? Takes proactive escalation of probable system problems or design flaws to upper management before serious performance impact or impact on ROI. ? Assures that all standards, models, designs and methodologies recommended by the Solution Architects are implemented at the project level ? Acts as evangelist of the work and recommendations of the Product Development, delivery, and architecture teams. ? Assists in strategic sales efforts from a technical perspective. ? Recommends hardware and server requirements and works with Infrastructure on building application environments. ? Assists in troubleshooting applications systems, performance and environmental concerns. Leadership ? Provides technical leadership and guidance to the sites. ? Trains delivery team and engineers in new or unfamiliar software products, as well as existing MMS and MCO components. ? Assists delivery teams and engineers with solving complex technical issues. ? Establishes, documents, and rolls out software architecture processes and procedures. Communication ? Provides recommendations, alternatives, and guidance to site project teams, as well as other MMS / MCO teams regarding application and environment questions and issues. ? Communicates effectively with a variety of audiences including project management, engineers, business analysts, and members of other MMS / MCO teams. Tailor the message to the audience. ? Communicates technical architecture policies and procedures to the sites and other MMS / MCO teams, and enforces adherence to processes and procedures. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: ? Knowledge of high-volume transaction processing software applications and a solid understanding of the effects of various factors on the health and performance of these systems ? Solid understanding of MMS - Health PAS architecture and processing, and of how architecture designs relate to larger project objectives and business requirements ? Knowledge of software modeling and visual representation ? Ability to coordinate disparate teams to deliver a holistic enterprise solution ? Ability to present to large audiences, both technical and non-technical ? Self-motivated, ability to take initiative to identify, communicate, and resolve potential issues ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Ability to abide by Molina?s policies ? Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work ?
