PeopleSoft HCM Business Analyst

The State Accounting Office (SAO) of the State of Georgia is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Human Capital Management business analyst. The business analyst will perform in-depth troubleshooting/analysis activities for complex business systems, provide resolution for complex application issues and user questions, document business processes, administer testing and perform as a liaison to the customer.

Experience in one of the following modules is required:
• Time and Labor

• Global Payroll Absence Management
• HR/Payroll

- Payroll for North America
- Labor Distribution
- Human Resources
-Base Benefits

PeopleSoft HCM - Time and Labor experience:
• Time and Labor module implementation experience
• Time Administration processing and how to resolve errors
• Time Administration configuration and components, including rules, rule programs and timesheets
• Load to Payroll processing
• Ability to translate leave policies into rule requirements
• Interface methods for Time and Labor data for Labor Distribution
• Integration of Time and Labor with Global Payroll Absence Management

PeopleSoft HCM – Absence Management experience:
• Absence Management processing and how to resolve balance issues.
• Absence Management configuration including, elements, PINs, and calendars
• Implementation of leave polices including the translation of leave policies to various Absence Management elements
• Integration of Absence Management with Time and Labor.

PeopleSoft HCM – HR/Payroll experience:
• Human Resource and Base Benefits
• Workforce Administration, Base Benefits, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Workforce Development, Position Management.

• Payroll for North America

• Labor Distribution
• PeopleSoft HRMS configuration
• Experience in supporting Oracle (Taleo) Applicant Tracking System integration

Business Analyst responsibilities include:
• Analysis of information to determine the nature and extent of proposed customer requirements and concerns
• Translation of customer business requirements into actionable plans that can be analyzed by the development staff to create system modifications
• Identification of potential risks and development of solution alternatives
• Review of solutions presented by development staff to determine if proposed solution meets the needs of the customer
• Testing or coordination of system modification testing
• Execution of routine production system processes
• Determination of resolutions for a range of simple to complex application issues
• Identification and documentation of business, functional and system requirements
• Consult with vendors or technical staff to ensure that functionality of the automated system is consistent with usage and industry best practices
• Assist in the development of change management plans for transition to new or upgraded systems
• Documentation of business processes for users of new or upgraded system
• Participation in the evaluation of new technologies or solutions to improve service and efficiency of systems
• Customer support in the use of systems
• Research and analysis of system/user problems by applying a variety of analytical and research techniques

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in a related field and six years of experience OR Associate degree in a related field and eight years of experience Or high school diploma or GED and ten years of experience.
• Six years PeopleSoft Business Analyst experience
• Business Analyst Certification - Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBA
