Job Description < Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience Required for the incumbent to be successful in the job: 1) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent training and experience. 2) Minimum 5-7 years progressively responsible professional level data processing experience or the equivalent in training and experience. 3) Experience working with mainframes, personal computers, and associated software. 4) Experience in the telecommunications industry, with special emphasis in Operational Support Systems for facilities based provisioning (MARTENS, a Sasktel International product) 5) Training or experience working with languages used at CenturyLink (e.g., MVS, JCL, TSO, IMS, CICS, COBOL II, DB2) in an IBM or equivalent operating environment. 6) Additional or concurrent experience analyzing, designing, refining, and maintaining information processing systems in a large or multiple applications environment. 7) Additional or concurrent experience which demonstrates familiarities with development life cycles and project management techniques or the equivalent in training and experience. Familiarity with project leadership techniques. 8) Experience using structured specification coding and documentation techniques. 9) Work experience with at least one major computer application. 10) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple project tasks to meet established deadlines and accommodate rapidly changing priorities. 11) Effective communications, interpersonal, and analysis skills. 12) Project leadership knowledge and experience.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
