This position will initially be dedicated to the collecting requirements from end users for integrating new system with existing systems in branch and call center. This Business Analyst will gather important business data and translate it into digestible information that improves the business process. We need someone who can take charge of a project and deliver results that will make the organization more efficient and profitable. Our ideal candidate can work on multiple projects simultaneously, familiar with the entire Business Requirements Documentation process per the BABOK, including modelling & use cases, and is very knowledgeable with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) to be able to assist on projects within the Technology and Operations organization located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ideal candidate for this position will have skills and experience necessary to work closely with all level of the organizations. The Business Analyst will have banking project experience in accounting/finance to develop technical solutions to business problems. Not only will they define, analyze and documenting requirements they should be able to clearly define data flows, evaluate, and refine processes. This individual should also have a clear understanding of the difference between business and technical/functional requirements. Responsibilities: Gather, reviews, analyze, validate, evaluate and map business systems, processes and user needs Perform and participate in the analysis, design and implementation of business systems following appropriate standards and requirement gathering Formulate proposals for new systems, procedures and/or processes and implements Coordinate with testing team and assist with creating test scripts to ensure requirements are fulfilled Create data models and information flows May be asked to perform project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member Develop requirement traceability matrixes, process change matrixes, and functional test cases Think at varying levels, from high concept to low detail Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders Work with various business users to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and make recommendations for improvements and changes Create direct channels of communication to software and application developers that get the job done without managerial interjection Develop comprehensive use cases at the application and multi-application level Determine and document user requirements for business processes and follow appropriate standards for requirement gathering Conduct and facilitate user acceptance test planning sessions, provide input for feasibility and prepares user documentation and follow-up evaluation Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers and then follow-up on all results Assist in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems Communicate complex ideas effectively in writing, speaking, and presentation Demonstrate creative "out of the box" thinking Champion ideas and sell them to others Grasp business-centric design principles Work closely with functional streams to ensure all requirements are collected and fulfilled Work closely with business teams of the bank to visualize and implement future needs of the banks Responsible for testing during parameterization Work in fast paced environment Perform other duties as   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
