May provide guidance to less experienced staff. We are seeking a talented Application Support Analyst to support users of the Tivoli Identity Manager application. The candidate must have at least 2-3 years experience administering and supporting Tivoli Identity Manager v5.0, or later, in an enterprise environment. This position will provide support for troubleshooting and resolving user issues, analyzing and improving application performance, writing Unix shell scripts, and possibly using Java/JavaScript to code custom workflows. We are seeking candidates who have familiarity with LDAP, Linux, and Unix shell scripting but the emphasis is on JavaScript and Java development in a Linux/Unix environment with WebSphere Application Server and DB2/UDB. Experience with Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM) and development of workflows is highly desirable for this role. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prioritize workload, and work in a fast paced environment. Ability to exercise judgment independently and ensure commitments and deliverables are met on time; Demonstrated ability to work in teams and as an individual contributor; Excellent customer service and organizational skills; Strong analytical and problem solving skill as well as planning and time management skills. This is a hands-on technical position. Additional responsibilities: Assist in capturing and documenting business requirements, translating requirements to actionable items for a technical solution. Fill gaps in existing project and operational documentation by creating new documentation or updating existing documentation to bring it current. Participate in process evaluation and make recommendations for improvement. May assist in creation of test case documentation and/or participate in testing. Required minimum qualifications: Must have at least 2-3 years experience administering and supporting Tivoli Identity Manager v5.0, or later, in an enterprise environment. A comparable substitute for this experience would be administrator level responsibilities with another Identity/Access Management tool. This position will provide support for troubleshooting and resolving user issues, analyzing and improving application performance, writing Unix shell scripts, and possibly using Java/JavaScript to code custom workflows.
