Required Skills : * Ability to consult with organizations in the initial design stages of projects to design systems and utilize best practices into Informatica workflows and SQL scripts * Ability to review and analyze existing Teradata SQL and load processes, identifying improvement opportunities, indexes, partitioning strategies, etc., and make recommendations to improve the processes, schema, SQL, load scripts and processes, etc. Then work with the process owners to implement the changes and document the improvements. * Must be proficient in the full suite of Teradata tools including PMON, TASM, Teradata Manager, Loader Utilities TPT, BTEQ, MLOAD, FLOAD etc. * Deep understanding of Teradata architecture * Advanced level SQL skills * Experience writing/understanding UNIX shell scripts. * Excellent physical database design, implementation, and support skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Strong consulting and analytical skills. * Good interpersonal skills.
