Securians Enterprise Technology Service Desk is a professional, fun, and structured work environment with regards to time and detail. What you would do in this job:





Provide first level technical assistance and support to Securian home office and remote associates computer system, hardware or software.
Provide in-person, direct to customer hardware and software technical support.
Respond quickly and effectively to calls received through the ET Service Desk.
Log all incident and requests in a call management tool; track incidents and requests from identification through resolution.
Walk customer through problem solving process over the phone, via remote assistance or face to face.
Monitor and respond to the ET Service Desk ticket queue for incoming tickets, thoroughly assess and evaluate the issue and actively resolve or escalate the ticket.
Ask pertinent questions to determine nature of the customers issue.
Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved to the customers satisfaction.
Create and maintain knowledgebase documents for use by Securian associates.



What wed expect from you:





Proficient in supporting, troubleshooting a corporate computing, and mobile environment, including supported software and hardware.
Strong Customer Service and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Must be results oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to remain positive in an active environment and interface with customers in a professional, effective manner.
Excellent verbal, written, problem solving, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.



Preferred skills for this job:





Two or Four-year degree with emphasis in MIS, Computer Science, or Technical Support preferred.
1-2 years IT Service Desk experience.
Windows operating system support experience.
Citrix support experience.
Microsoft Office support experience.
MAC support experience.



Job posting requirements:





A "Successful" rating or better on most recent Performance Appraisal
Attendance record should not exceed Company average of six unplanned absences per year
Meets experience requirements as stated in the Job Posting Program guidelines posted on Sync





Physical job requirements:





Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer periodically throughout entire workday
Ability to be mobile periodically throughout entire workday
