Description:

ITSD-DMH is in need of two (2) Staff Augmentation with Mainframe expertise to help move remaining Mainframe data to the legacy data warehouse in the SQL Server environment and to document the Mainframe processes that need to be replicated in the Windows environment: i.e. Estate Claim Reporting and Monthly Medicaid Claims Interface with DSS.

Resources selected will be expected to work with existing State Staff and other contract staff to move data to the new environment and identify impacted processes that will need to be created in the new environment. Resources must have ability to write SQL statements.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

* Advanced technical and analytical skills, with extensive knowledge of COBOL, DB2 and SQL skills required.

* Proficiency navigating in a mainframe environment.

* Experience with mainframe systems integration.

* Expertise with Extract Transform Load (ETL) using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

* Skilled in designing and creating SSIS packages.

* Perform build and deployment of SSIS Packages from one environment to another environment.

* Business Intelligence development skills, which includes development in SQL Server and Integration Services with a clear understanding of the SQL database structure.

* Strong experience in Consumer, Finance, and Medical industries.

* ASSIST report analysis.

* Convert ASSIST Mainframe Reports Software to SQL Server for
reporting needs.

* Experience in the modernization of mainframe reporting to SQL
Server database.

* Knowledge of the Standard Query Language to perform warehouse tasks
associated with Mainframe cleanup activities.
