It is a large, complex medical system including invoicing, payment, medical records and scheduling for a veterinary practice. We are completely throwing out a very old legacy system written in .NET (Windows Forms) and writing it in a state-of-the art modern way. The new code is using Angular/HTML5/Bootstrap/among many other libraries. We are using Typescript but the candidate should already know Javascript. The new application is a thoroughly modern application that is meant to improve overall usability of an application that is used by tens of thousands of Banfield employees. IT IS A BIG DEAL for the company. After that there are several other projects in the pipeline but I dont have specifics about those. I think they are long the same lines. Modernizing and improving legacy systems. They are looking to find people who would make good Banfield Associates eventually. IE, people who eventually want to turn perm. He also said they want "full stack developers". Which means they would need to be able to write front end code in HTML5/Angular/Typescript, The would also need to be able to write C# .Net code and finally but probably the least important would be maintaining SQL queries and code.
