Goals: •Develop a premier job search mobile application based on Missouris jobs search site, jobs.mo.gov. •Extend and enhance the tools offered to individuals seeking employment using jobs.mo.gov. •Allow job seekers to search jobs and receive notifications of opportunities at anytime from anywhere on the mobile device of their choice, with a goal of decreasing the time of unemployment. •Increase the number of qualified applicants for employers by offering mobile accessibility of jobs.mo.gov. •Decrease hiring cycle times for businesses by increasing accessibility for job seekers applying for jobs using jobs.mo.gov. To fulfill these PAQ requirements the Contractor will provide: Analyze, document, design, build, and implement a mobile application to meet the overall needs and requirements of JOBS. Requirements include, but are not limited to: •Develop application, interface, platform, design and functionality. •Identify each key stakeholders (i.e. job seeker; employer; DWD) requirements. •Identify application-business rules and procedures. Create process flow diagrams. •Identify security issues with both the creation of the mobile application and subsequent JOBS data. Qualifications: The contractor should have experience with similar interpretive experiences and should be able to provide DED-DWD with a template for design. Previous analysis and/or creation of mobile application(s) for other states and state agencies is not required but preferred Database Structure: The mobile application would utilize the same data as the current JOBS website which is hosted in an Oracle 11g database. Technical and Security Requirements: •RESTful Web Services must be used to access the data source •Sensitive data must be encrypted at rest and in motion between the web service and the application. •It is preferred that the application is developed using Apache Cordova. •The application must be designed to work for both Android and iOS operating systems.
