Daily Tasks • Use ArcGIS custom program to enter new projects into the GIS layers • Use ArcGIS custom program to research reported problems with GIS and/or asbuilts and correct in GIS • Use ArcGIS and/or custom ESRI AML program to validate and modify GIS layers • Read water/wastewater as-builts to investigate and resolve potential inconsistencies in the data • Run and interpret error reports to assist in QA/QC • Perform visual, tabular, and geographic checks on GIS layers • Use miscellaneous applications, including MS Office, to assist with QA/QC process • Communicate with County personnel to resolve issues with GIS data Experience / Skills Required • Proficient in drafting, preferably using ArcGIS. Experience with other CAD packages is also accepted. • Proficient using computers • Able to read/interpret engineering plans – preferably water/wastewater as-builts • Effective communication skills in English • Able to learn new drafting tools quickly • Able to work collaboratively in team environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
